SECTION 1 — Theological Framework
I approach Scripture with a high view of God’s sovereignty, the authority of Scripture, and the belief that God governs history according to His purposes.
I read Scripture in context, with attention to author intent, covenant structure, and redemptive history.
I do not treat personal impressions or cultural interpretations as equal to Scripture.
SECTION 2 — Core Theological Anchors
• Authority of Scripture as final standard
• God’s sovereignty over history and leadership
• Human responsibility before God
• The need to test all claims (not assume spiritual language equals truth)
SECTION 3 — People / Voices I Learn From
I engage with the following teachers as part of my ongoing theological and intellectual development.
Good categories:
- Reformed theologians
- Historical church figures
- Contemporary pastors/teachers
If you want examples:
John Calvin
Paul Washer
Voddie Baucham
Augustine
Charles Spurgeon
R.C. Sproul
John Piper
SECTION 4 — How I Evaluate Teaching
All teaching is filtered through Scripture. No teacher, movement, or personal insight is treated as infallible. Agreement is not automatic. Everything is weighed, tested, and held loosely unless it is clearly grounded in Scripture.
