  • Who am I?

My name is Trenton, and I created The Sovereignty Project as a space for structured thinking about Scripture, culture, and God’s sovereignty over history and human affairs.

I come from a background in the U.S. Army as a Religious Affairs Specialist. That experience has shaped how I think about leadership, discipline, responsibility, and the way people process belief under pressure.

Over time, I’ve become increasingly concerned with how easily spiritual language and cultural interpretation can become unstructured and untested. Strong convictions are often spoken with certainty, but not always with careful examination. That tension is what led me to start writing.

I am not approaching this as someone who has everything figured out. I am approaching it as someone committed to clarity, discipline, and honest evaluation of ideas under Scripture.

My theological approach is grounded in a high view of God’s sovereignty and the authority of Scripture as the final standard for truth. That means every claim, including my own, is subject to testing and correction.

This space is not about building a following or promoting a personality. It is about slowing down thought, testing claims carefully, and refusing to treat assumption as truth.

If you read anything here, I encourage you to think critically, compare everything with Scripture, and do not accept anything simply because it is confidently stated.

The goal here is not agreement. The goal is clarity.
